Naomis Candies 

How It All Began

I am Naomi Privett! I have owned and operated Naomi’s Candies since 2002!
In 2001 I was pregnant with my first baby. I was working one day a week at a local cafe. My end  goal was to be able to stay home and raise my children. One day the owner was throwing an employee appreciation party and I had decided to make little gift bags of hard tack candy. This is a recipe my late mother made for me and my siblings as children. The owner really liked it and offered for me to sell it in her cafe. In the first 2 weeks of selling it I sold 14 bags! After a few months of that I started making gormet chocolates like truffles, turtles, mint meltaways , and lots more! My husband and a few family members ended up building a licensed kitchen into my garage. We have now moved and I have a full licensed kitchen added on to the back of my house! I now have 4 children and my dreams of being a stay at home mom have become a reality! I am blessed to be able to continue my business and stay home while raising my 4 children.
